Built for this kind of work.
Keep volunteer contributions organized by program or event without treating the record as a payroll sheet. This volunteer timesheet includes an activity field so coordinators can distinguish setup, service delivery and follow-up work. Record one person’s actual service intervals and review the entries with the organization when hours need confirmation. Use a separate record for travel, training or other activities if the organization applies different counting rules. The total shows recorded time, not proof of eligibility for a school, grant or service requirement. Keep participant names and sensitive beneficiary information out of descriptions, and retain the organization’s own confirmation process where one is required.

These are recordkeeping tools, not payroll or legal advice. Confirm your own break, overtime, approval and billing rules. Do not include patient details, children's personal information or other sensitive information in general work notes.
Using it in Google Sheets
Download the Excel file, upload it to Google Drive, then open it with Google Sheets. Check the imported formulas and time formats with a sample entry before relying on totals. For shared teams, set access deliberately and keep a clean master copy.
