Clearly shown.
Does the calculator decide which hours qualify for overtime?
No. Enter regular, overtime and optional double-time hours after determining how they should be classified. This tool does not infer eligibility, a workweek boundary, exemptions or local rules.
Is the overtime rate the full hourly rate or just the extra premium?
The explicit rate is the full hourly rate paid for those overtime hours, not only the premium above the base rate. Do not count the same hours in regular and overtime categories.
Can I use my own multiplier?
Yes. Choose a multiplier or enter an explicit overtime hourly rate. Any example multiplier is only an assumption you can change, not a statement of the rate required for your work.
Does the total include tax and deductions?
No. The result is an estimated gross amount from your entered hours and rates. It excludes taxes, deductions, benefits, bonuses and other payroll adjustments.
