Start with the right document.
A straightforward invoice for a sale that does not need a complicated layout. Identify the seller and customer, assign an invoice number, and list what was supplied in clear line items. Quantities and rates make the arithmetic reviewable instead of hiding everything inside a single unexplained total. Add the issue date, currency and agreed payment terms before sending. If a tax or other charge applies, confirm how it should appear under the rules relevant to the sale. This template is a starting document, not a tax determination or a payment service. Keep a copy with the supporting order or work record.
