Outline a repeat-purchase arrangement without pretending that every future delivery has already been ordered. A blanket purchase order records an agreed validity period, scope and maximum authorization, while individual releases or call-offs specify the actual quantities and delivery dates requested under it. Use the line items to describe the covered goods or services and any estimated quantities, clearly identifying estimates as such. The arithmetic total is an estimate when quantities are estimates; it is not proof of spending or supplier acceptance. Keep a separate release log and reconcile each call-off, receipt and invoice against the approved limits and terms.
