Keep a record that can be reviewed
Use separate rows for different service types on the same equipment. A maintenance visit and a calibration result are different records; label each clearly and retain the relevant report or certificate.
Before your team uses it
- Record the equipment ID, not just a nickname.
- Include usage-based intervals where the procedure requires them.
- Keep a result and evidence reference rather than only a completion date.
- Use your approved procedure for any equipment found outside its permitted condition.
Adapt it to your process
Use the interval specified by the manufacturer, approved procedure or applicable requirement. This log does not certify calibration, establish measurement accuracy or schedule automatic reminders.
