Keep a record that can be reviewed
Use one row per checked product or batch. Record the measurement method or instrument reference and the observed packaging condition so the receiving decision has context. Keep any follow-up linked to the delivery reference.
Before your team uses it
- Record arrival time and the actual check time separately.
- Keep the measured reading separate from the acceptance criterion.
- Record what was observed rather than an unexplained tick mark.
- Follow the approved escalation process when a delivery does not meet your criteria.
Adapt it to your process
Use your approved product-specific receiving criteria and local requirements. This record does not prescribe acceptance temperatures, decide product safety or tell staff how to dispose of goods.
